After a reaction time of approximately 90 minutes, a chlorine dioxide solution (CDL) with a concentration of 0.3% is ready for use. Separate calculations or individual dosing of the raw materials are not required.

These include microbiological contaminants such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, algae, germs, biofilms and legionella.

Chlorine dioxide solution (CDL) may also be used, within the appropriate framework, for water treatment and surface cleaning.

Storage Before Preparation

The individual components can be stored at room temperature. When unopened and stored properly, the components generally have a shelf life of several years (approximately 3-4 years).

Dry, light-protected and tightly sealed storage helps maintain the long-term quality of the components.

Storage After Preparation

After combining the components, a 0.3% chlorine dioxide solution (CDL) is produced. The same general storage conditions apply as for ready-to-use CDL products.

Chlorine dioxide is a volatile substance and may gradually lose concentration if stored improperly. Suitable storage helps maintain the stability of the solution for as long as possible.

After preparation, the solution generally remains stable for several months when stored properly (approximately 8-9 months), although the concentration may gradually decrease over time.
