CDS classic is based on a proven 2-component system consisting of sodium chlorite (25%) and hydrochloric acid (4%). When the components are combined, chlorine dioxide is generated. The preparation takes place directly before use, allowing flexible adaptation to different application requirements.

Unlike ready-to-use solutions or pre-configured systems, CDS classic focuses on individual control. Users can determine themselves the quantity and proportion of the components used, enabling targeted adjustment of the resulting chlorine dioxide solution.

The underlying method follows the classic chlorite-acid process, in which chlorine dioxide is formed through acidification of sodium chlorite.

This principle has been used for many years in various technical and hygienic applications and allows the active substance to be generated directly at the point of use.

CDS classic is particularly suitable for users who prefer a flexible, situation-dependent preparation and value independent control over the process.

A properly prepared chlorine dioxide solution may also be used for water treatment and surface cleaning applications.

Instructions for the Use of CDL classic (Sodium Chlorite 25% and Hydrochloric Acid 4%)

Application depends on concentration, intended purpose and individual dosage. Since the preparation is carried out individually, proper and responsible handling is particularly important. Use should always follow the applicable guidelines and the instructions provided on the product label.

With CDL classic, the two components sodium chlorite 25% and hydrochloric acid 4% are mixed drop by drop in a 1:1 ratio, resulting in the formation of chlorine dioxide. The concentration of the resulting solution depends on the selected dosage and can therefore be adjusted individually. Careful and proper handling is therefore essential.

The reaction starts quickly within a few seconds after combining the components. For safe handling, the use of suitable resistant containers such as glass or ceramic is recommended. Do not use metallic containers.

Due to the variable preparation method, it is recommended to familiarize yourself with the properties and handling of the components before use. Please note that this is a biocidal product. Use biocidal products safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
